The Madison Public Theatre is proud to announce our inaugural scholarship for graduating seniors from Madison who are pursuing a college degree in the performing arts.
Recipients of the scholarships will be announced before the end of the school year, and a small ceremony will be planned in the summer. Scholarship awards will be in the $1,000-$5,000 range
Eligibility: Applicants must be accepted to a performing arts program at a 4-year university or college with plans to enroll for the 2024-2025 school year, and should be a resident of or attend a high school in Madison, NJ.
VIDEO/PORTFOLIA CRITERIA:
• No more than 3 minutes in length
• Shoot in horizontal
• Begin your video with a slate: name, high school, intended major/field of study
> • Musical Theatre majors must showcase an uptempo and a ballad
• While the video may be a compilation, please no more than 3 separate sections
• Label it: "Last Name_First Name_Video"
• PDF only
• May include samples of writing, designs, set construction, depending on your concentration.
• Option to upload a video to introduce yourself with prompt: "Why am I pursuing this field of study?"
• Label it: "Last Name_First Name_Portfolio"
